The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, in cooperation with National Center of the Territorial Civil Service (CNFPT), organised a roundtable on the topic “Professional training in local government units, regulations and practices in the Republic of France and the Republic of Serbia” at SKIP Center. At the conference, representatives of the CNFPT highlighted the importance of creating practical conditions that will enable local officials to be actors of their own professional improvement, as well as the importance of developing various training for the employees. This is fundamental training – tailored to the principal needs of officials at the beginning of their careers and aimed at the further professionalisation in accordance with the expectations of officers, and mandatory training – tailored to the specific requirements of officials and specialised jobs.
