The third “Free Programming School”, which is traditionally realized every year in the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center, thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Government of the Republic of Korea, will be held next week via Zoom platform. Trainings in the field of using innovative information and communication technologies, using the most popular program for creating tables Microsoft Excel and the basics of Python programming language, as in previous years, will be held by young Korean experts, graduates of renowned IT Colleges from Seoul. In two years of dedicated work, they have trained more than 700 citizens of the Republic of Serbia and improved their ICT knowledge. The third “Free Summer Programming School” was planned to be held in July, but it was postponed due to the recommended measures for prevention, suppression and prevention of the spread of the Covid-19 and the epidemiological situation in both countries. Thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the National Information Society Agency of the Government of the Republic of Korea, the necessary conditions for its maintenance have been provided through an online platform. The “Free IT School” will be held from December 7th to December 11th. The basic level course of Microsoft Excel will be held every work day in the interval from 1-4pm, and the basics of programming in Python (Python) every work day in the period from 10-12am.
