The student organization ESTIEM Belgrade, a branch of the Association of European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, held a presentation on the topic “Economy of the Republic of Serbia” today at the SKIP Center of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. This interesting lecture was attended by 25 students from a dozen European countries. They got acquainted with the most important areas of economic development of the Republic of Serbia, and they were especially interested in monetary policy during the last two decades.
The student organization ESTIEM LG Belgrade is part of the ESTIEM network of the Association of European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, which brings together local groups from 76 European cities. It is a project-oriented organization that provides members with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of management through various projects for the purpose of individual progress. The Belgrade branch of ESTIEM has existed for over 15 years, gathers more than 150 active members, while its headquarters are at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade. ESTIEM LG Belgrade establishes, cultivates and develops relationships with students throughout Europe.
Let us be reminded, last year in the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center for the first time, the mentioned student organization organized a three-day project management workshop, which is one of the most popular fields of study today.
