From December 9 – 11. 2024, a three-day training was held at the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center in Dobrinjska 11, as part of the cooperation project between the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of the Interior and Public Safety of the Republic of Korea.

The training was focused on improving participants’ skills in the use of advanced IT technologies and the legal framework of e-government. During the training, participants were introduced to best practices from developed countries in the field of e-government, including topics such as open data, big data technologies, smart cities, and international legal frameworks regulating this area.

Special attention was given to the introduction and application of open data platforms in the public sector, and participants had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge of technologies that improve the delivery of services to citizens and enhance the operational efficiency of institutions. Additionally, the training covered the importance of developing smart cities as a solution to urban challenges and the improvement of public services.

The training was conducted in English, and all participants received a certificate of attendance upon completion.

This event provided an opportunity for further development of digital skills in the field of e-government and contributed to strengthening the cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Korea in this key area.
