Thanks to the Kingdom of Norway and its Embassy in Belgrade, and in cooperation with the Serbia-Korea IT Center, employees of the Commission for Protection of Competition completed a several-day lobbying and successful debating training. During the intensive and interactive lectures in SKIP Center, participants received a significant amount of knowledge about the roles of public debates in the creation of public policies and the most effective ways of their implementation. Employees in the Commission for Protection of Competition had the opportunity to hear the qualities of a successful lobbyist, which techniques and tactics of lobbying are most often used in practice, and how this extensive skill is used in the countries of the European Union. In this way, the representatives of the Commission have enhanced their “advocacy” skills and considerably enriched their experience in the field of competition policy, which will surely help them in further work.
