Representatives of the South Korean multinational company “Samsung” and the Korean Development Institute (KDI) visited today the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, where they discussed the results of the joint project with representatives of the Ministry. Development of smart cities based on cloud technology (“cloud technology based smart cities”) in the Republic of Serbia”.
The mentioned project is currently being implemented in three municipalities: Bečej, Šid and Petrovac na Mlavi. In the first phase of the project, a detailed analysis with specific recommendations is planned, while the ultimate goal of the project is the construction of a broadly oriented smart city model whose services will be based on cloud infrastructure.
As part of the visit to the Republic of Serbia, the delegation from the Republic of Korea will visit all three municipalities where the project is being implemented in the coming days
