The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the National Institute for International Education of the Republic of Korea, organizes a free basic level Korean language course.
Korean language classes will be held every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the period from November 30, 2023 to June 27, 2024, in the premises of the Serbian-Korean Information and Access Center, which operates as part of MDULS and is located at Dobrinjska Street 11 in Belgrade (SKIP centar; www.skipcentar.rs).

All citizens who wish to attend a free Korean language school at the SKIP center can submit an application electronically by November 23 by filling out the form available at the following link:

Please note that the number of places is limited and that knowledge of the English language is necessary to attend the course, because communication for the purpose of understanding the lectures and following the classes will take place in this foreign language.

Korean language classes will be taught by professor Hyejong Shin, who, in addition to being a lecturer at the Belgrade Philological High School, is also engaged in Korean social and linguistic institutions. The National Institute for International Education (NIIED) is an organization or agency under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea with competences in the field of development of international cooperation in the field of the education system and human resources. The institute was founded in 1962, and within its special program since 2016 volunteer professors have been engaged in education.
