Today, in the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center which is part of MPALSG, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Marija Obradović, signed contracts in order to establish one stop shops with three representatives of different local self-governments in the Republic of Serbia. This will give the citizens of Kosjerić, Paraćin and Topola the opportunity to do all administrative business at one place. By establishing one stop shops, together, we all provide the best possible service to the citizens which is the possibility of submitting their requests and getting the feedback at the same place. This way, local self-governments become a service to their citizens, saving them time and money – said Minister Obradović, congratulating the representatives of local self-governments. She said that this year, 12 different municipalities applied for the “one stop shop” project but only Paracin, Topola and Kosjeric met the criteria for receiving funds from the budget. The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government advised the representatives of local self-governments to be efficient and responsible and to open one stop shops within the orderly period. The 20 million RSD that were used for these local self-governments and this project is not a small amount of money for our country and for this Ministry. That is why I urge you to use it in accordance with contacts we signed today and to be ready to open one stop shops on time and without any delay – Minister Obradović emphasized. Let us be reminded that ten one-stop-shops have been established in Serbia so far, in Lazarevac, Sabac, Zitiste, Smederevska Palanka, Bela Palanka, Sombor, Krusevac, Vlasotince, Uzice and Gornji Milanovac, and the establishment of a one-stop shop system in four more municipalities is expected by the end of the year.
