Today, young IT professionals from Seoul gave their last lesson to Serbian citizens who have attended free programming courses at the Serbia-Korea Information Access Center for the past month. This officially ends the Free Summer Programming School, organized the second year in a row by our Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and the Government of the Republic of Korea, as one of the projects that best reflects the current successful cooperation between the two countries in the digitalization sphere. This free summer IT school covered significant areas in the fast-growing ICT sector, emphasizing Web programming and the Phyton programming language, including a unique Korean culture course for interested citizens that attracted a large number of participants with its rich and engaging content, as well as interactivity and dynamics. In the midst of the development of the digital economy, which has introduced new professions closely related to ITC and increased the interest in jobs that require digital literacy at different levels, this free Summer Programming School has shown that a large number of citizens is deciding to adopt new or enhance existing digital skills and keep up with new industry.
