On the occasion of the release of 27 latest electronic services for issuing permits into production, licenses and approvals for the economy, the Serbian-Korean Information Access Center hosted training of government officials who will implement these procedures within the digital platform “ePermit” on the national eGovernment Portal. These are employees of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, as well as the Veterinary Administration. The services provided in this way will be faster, cheaper and available in just a few simple steps.
All this is part of the three-year project “Project for Enhancement of the Business Environment in the Republic of Serbia” implemented by Public Policy Secretariat, the Office for Information Technologies and e-Government of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The Fund for Good Governance of the United Kingdom and the British Embassy in Belgrade, and the goal is to reduce the administrative burden for the economic sector.
Let us be reminded that previously, with the publication of a set of electronic services on the eGovernment Portal in September last year, about thirty digitized procedures for issuing permits, licenses and consents became available to businessmen in the Republic of Serbia.
